Meet Dixie! This approximately 2-5 year old, 60lb female Husky is a true survivor. Dixie and her companion, Roscoe, were abandoned in a rural area last year, but thankfully, the property owner has been caring for them. Dixie is a playful and active girl who loves to stay busy. She's been good with kids and enjoys the company of her current fur sibling. However, she hasn't been introduced to other dogs since being found, and she has a natural instinct to patrol and apprehend small outdoor wildlife.

Dixie would thrive in a home with experienced adopters who have the time and patience to invest in her. An active lifestyle would be a great fit for this energetic Husky.

Dixie is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Consistent training will help Dixie blossom! She needs a patient adopter to guide her as she adjusts to her new life. Her tendency to apprehend small wildlife is something to be aware of.
