Queen Bessie is a magnificent lady who adores a good booty scratch and loves to snuggle up on the couch. She's always checking in on her people and encouraging interaction, especially when she senses you might be feeling a bit under the weather – she's so intuitive and considerate! Once she's comfortable, Bessie enjoys a bit of roughhousing and then loves to snuggle with her best pal, Draco. They can entertain each other for hours, followed by a long nap on the couch – they are the ultimate besties!
Bessie was rescued from a county shelter where she was facing euthanasia due to overcrowding. She has been let down by humans before and is now searching for a forever home with a family who will cherish her always. Could that be you?
Ideal Home
Bessie would love a home where she can continue to roughhouse and snuggle with her best friend, Draco. We don't know how she would do with cats or children.

Transporation
Queen Bessie is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can take her to a nearby town, county, or state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
