Stella

Stella is a sweet and loving young Akita who found herself with a litter of puppies when she was still just a baby herself! Thanks to wonderful supporters, she and her pups were saved and have been thriving. Stella is a devoted momma, and while she's still caring for her little ones, she's getting ready to find her own loving home. She can be a bit reactive to other dogs, which might be her protective mama instincts.

Ideal Home

Stella would do best in a home where she can continue to feel safe and loved. Due to her dog reactivity, she would be best as the only dog in the home, or in a home with careful introductions.

Ongoing Health

Stella is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Stella can be dog reactive, which may be due to her protective instincts as a mom. With patience and understanding, she can learn to trust and relax.
