Lily

Lily’s story is one of resilience and second chances. She came to us after ingesting a quilt, which led her to require surgery. Her previous owners contemplated euthanasia, but instead, they decided to let us give her a second chance! Lily is an exceptionally sweet canine companion. While she’s still overcoming her timid nature—often hitting the deck when startled—her true personality shines through as she gradually emerges from her shell. Her endearingly quirky side is making an appearance more and more often. Lily keeps her area nice and tidy and does great with a cot. However, we do not give her any blankets or toys with stuffing due to her history of eating things. She seems to be doing well around other dogs and has been indifferent when she has seen cats in passing. Lily is ready to bring joy and love to a family willing to embrace her gentle spirit and help her continue to grow in confidence.
