I am Cheri, a shy, sweet girl who is sadly out of time and needs a loving home immediately. I'm a medium-sized dog, weighing around 36 lbs, and the shelter believes I'm about 2 years old. I lost my home and have been trying to be brave at the shelter, waiting quietly in the back kennels, hoping someone will notice me. I can be shy at first, but underneath my timid exterior, I long to feel safe, loved, and cherished. With patience and kindness, I know I can blossom. I came to the shelter with two former canine housemates, but we didn't get along, so I'm hoping to find a home where I can be your one and only companion. A calm environment where I can finally relax and know I belong is my dream. My time here is running out, and the thought is terrifying. I don't want my story to end in a shelter kennel. I dream of curling up on a soft bed, being comforted when I'm scared, and being loved for the rest of my life. Will you give me a chance to turn my life around and show me the life I've only dreamed of? I'm also a one-eared cutie and I absolutely love meatballs!
