Brooklyn Cherry is a ray of sunshine with ears that can express her every joyful thought! This approximately 1-2 year old Shepherd mix, weighing in at 60 lbs, is bursting with upbeat energy and a personality that's guaranteed to make you smile. She's a smart, dog-friendly girl who loves her toys and strikes a perfect balance between being a playful adventure buddy and a snuggly companion. While we can't guarantee her breed mix, we see hints of Rhodesian Ridgeback, German Shepherd, and even Great Dane in her beautiful coloring and frame. Whatever her DNA says, she's a perfect blend in our eyes!
Ideal Home
Brooklyn would thrive in a home with a moderately playful dog who enjoys a good romp and also likes to relax. If you don't have other dogs, that's perfectly fine too! She's a happy social butterfly who would also love to be the center of your world as a solo dog. She needs a family that is semi-active, enjoys taking their dog on hikes or even looking for a running partner, and also wants a snuggly companion after a full day of adventures. A big backyard where she can stretch her legs and soak up the sun would be ideal.

Training & Support
Brooklyn is a quick learner with solid basics! She is fully potty and crate trained and knows commands like sit, shake, and down. She is fairly easy to walk on a leash, though she may pull occasionally out of excitement, but she is easy to correct. She aims to please and would make a fantastic adventure companion for walks, hikes, or even runs. She also has a calm side and is content to relax with her favorite toy.

Transporation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system. This ensures every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time and receive photo updates.
