Ruben is a 3-month-old Pit Bull/Labrador Retriever mix who is the perfect blend of cuddler, adventurer, and goofy best friend. With his unique brown spots, warm hazel eyes, adorable pink-speckled nose, and floppy ears, he's sure to steal your heart. He's currently in a foster home where he loves playing with other dogs, enjoying wrestling and sharing toys with his canine friends. When he's not playing, Ruben is a total lovebug who enjoys being on your lap and giving out smooches. He's also a fantastic car passenger, ready for any adventure you have in mind. Ruben is working on his potty training and basic manners, and with his love for treats, he's an eager and smart learner. He enjoys playing with toys and entertaining himself before returning for more cuddles. Ruben would be happy in a home with another playful dog or as the sole focus of a family ready to include him in all their adventures.

Ruben is located in Houston, Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Transport drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation.
