HI - I'M ROOTIE, and my story is a sad one. I was originally saved from a shelter many years ago, and just this summer, I was rescued from a homeless encampment in Southern California. So now I'm safe, but I'm still a bit shy/timid in my new surroundings. I really need a home with a soft bed and a person or people to love me. I may take just a little bit to come out of my shell, but I deserve a wonderful home for once in my life. I'm 8 years old now, but in good health. Can you please foster or adopt me?
