Joey

Hi there! My name is Joey, and I'm a handsome 5-year-old medium-sized boy looking for my forever best friend. I can be a little shy at first and take my time to warm up, but once I do, I'm incredibly sweet, loving, and eager to please. I'm fully potty trained and do great in my kennel. I'm a chill guy who just wants to shower someone with 100% of my love!

Ideal Home

I'm a sensitive soul, and while I don't react to other dogs, they do make me a bit nervous. My foster mom thinks I'd be happiest as the only dog in the home, meaning all my love will be just for you! I also do best with older children, 13 and up, as I can sometimes be a bit nervous. I'm unknown with cats.

Ongoing Health

I have a past injury to my eye and half of my ear was ripped off due to an attack by other dogs. Despite this, I'm a resilient boy and don't let it slow me down!

Training & Support

I'm a good boy who aims to please! I'm already house-trained and kennel-trained. Because I can be a bit nervous, a patient and understanding home will be key to helping me continue to build my confidence.
