Meet Muffy!

Muffy is a six-and-a-half-year-old, 50-pound Chow Chow with a gentle spirit and an old soul. Her devoted pet parent recently passed away, and now Muffy is looking for a new loving home. She's a quiet observer who enjoys her cozy corners and the fresh air of a securely fenced yard. Once she feels comfortable, she reveals her loyal and loving nature, offering high-fives, graceful twirls, and becoming your biggest fan. Muffy enjoys peaceful walks, forest hikes, and engaging trick sessions, boasting an impressive repertoire including "spin," "wave," and "heel." While initially shy with new people, Muffy is a loyal guardian who thrives with time, patience, and a calm environment.

Ideal Home

Muffy would be happiest in a quiet, cat-free home with one or two experienced adults. She needs a routine, personal space, and gentle encouragement. She is not suited for homes with children or busy households due to her dislike of chaos and surprise greetings. A laid-back canine sibling might be a good fit, provided introductions are slow and respectful.

Ongoing Health

Muffy is spayed and vaccinated. She has a history of one bite incident involving an unleashed dog that ran up to her.

Training & Support

Muffy is house-trained and beautifully behaved indoors. She is independent and doesn't mind being left alone for short periods. She needs structure, softness, and a caregiver who understands her need to go at her own pace. She enjoys her daily Greenie and brushing.
