She's a super active girl who absolutely adores playing fetch and spending time outdoors, especially if there's water involved. Sandy is a true "Velcro dog," always wanting to be by your side for cuddles and relaxation after a fun day of play. She's a people-pleaser who showers her humans with kisses and affection and is great with children aged 8 and older. Sandy has an inspiring backstory; she had to leave her previous owner due to their declining health, but she's now ready to be a loyal and loving companion in a new home.

Ideal Home

Sandy would thrive in a home that feels bright, loving, and full of play. She needs to be the only pet in the household and requires a securely fenced yard with a fence at least 6 feet high so she can play safely. Sandy cannot be tied or tethered outside, and she is not a good fit for homes with underground electronic fence systems. She also cannot be adopted by people who live in apartments.
