About Hoot

Meet Hoot! This fun-loving and active young pup was found abandoned but is now learning what safety, stability, and love truly feel like. Hoot was born in December 2024 and is eager to find a forever family to continue his journey with. He thrives on outdoor adventures, playtime, and the companionship of another dog. At night, he settles in nicely, often choosing to sleep near his foster's bed. Hoot is already accident-free in his foster home, crate trained, and has even earned free-roam privileges when his foster is away.

Ideal Home

Hoot would do best in a home with a playful canine companion to romp with. He is curious around cats. A secure fenced yard and continued leash or harness use in public will help him feel safe. He can be a little shy and skittish if approached too quickly, so a patient adopter who understands that confidence comes with time and consistency is ideal.

Ongoing Health

No specific health conditions are mentioned in the listing. Hoot will receive a health exam by a veterinarian within 10 days of adoption, and a health certificate will be issued.

Training & Support

Hoot walks well on a leash and is beginning basic obedience training. He has been accident-free and is crate trained. Continued consistency and patience will help him build confidence.
