Hi there! My name is Sunny, but my foster parents also call me Sunny Bunny! I'm a 3-year-old boy who is likely a Lab/Pittie mix. I used to be a stray in New Mexico, which was a bit scary, but now that I'm in a foster home, I've learned how wonderful humans can be! I absolutely love cuddling and being a shadow – I'm a pro snuggler and mornings are best spent in bed, giving kisses! I'm house-trained and use a doggie door, and I walk very well on a leash. I'm not a big adventurer and prefer cozy days at home. New situations can make me a little nervous, so I look to my humans for reassurance. I'm a very submissive dog and have made friends with a tiny Chihuahua in my foster home, but I need slow introductions with new dogs because I can get scared. My past experiences with other dogs haven't always been great, so I need careful management around new dogs and I'm crated when no one is home. Honestly, I think I'd truly thrive as the only pet, where I can be the center of your world and feel completely safe and loved. Once I trust you, I'm the most loyal and loving boy you'll ever meet, with a big heart ready to give and receive love. I'll come with my kennel, favorite toys, and food.
