Darcy FKA Scout

Darcy, formerly known as Scout, is a 3-year-old Plott Hound mix with a playful, sweet, and endearingly goofy personality. He absolutely adores toys, often carrying them outside to toss in the air! Darcy is great with other dogs and will happily play for hours. He's also a gentle soul with people, warming up slowly but becoming a loyal and affectionate best friend once he trusts you. Watching his confidence grow has been incredibly rewarding, and he's come so far in his time with us.

Ideal Home

Darcy would be a wonderful match for an active home with a fenced yard, or for someone who enjoys walks, runs, and outdoor adventures. He also settles in beautifully when it's time to relax and would be content to settle nearby while you work.

Darcy is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Darcy is housebroken and walks nicely on leash most of the time. He has a wonderfully balanced energy level – always ready to go but also content to settle. He is incredibly dog-friendly and has gained confidence by playing with other dogs. He's respectful of toys and doesn't show a strong prey drive on walks. While he warms up slowly to new people, his affection and playful personality truly shine once he trusts you.
