Rufus

Meet Rufus, a delightful 2-year-old, 22lb bundle of joy who's a fluffy mix of Cockapoo and Shih Tzu! He's got brains, sweetness, a whole lot of personality, and star power to spare.

Rufus was found as a stray, a scruffy, mop-like pup with a big heart. Despite his rough start, his tail never stopped wagging. Now cleaned up and safe, Rufus shines with pure joy, cleverness, and affection. He's the perfect size for cuddles and absolutely adores belly rubs!

Ideal Home

Rufus would thrive in a home with active humans who can appreciate his exuberance. He loves playing with other dogs and would do well with a canine sibling, but he'd also be happy as an only dog. Due to his high energy and enthusiasm, a home without children under 10 would be best.

Ongoing Health

Rufus is fully vetted and ready for his forever home! He has been neutered, microchipped, is heartworm negative, and up to date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Rufus is a smart cookie who is eager to learn and responds well to training. He's already leash-trained, knows "sit," and is house-trained when kept on a schedule. He comes when called and is always trying to figure things out, showing he truly wants to be a good boy. While not naughty, he is exuberant, so some continued positive reinforcement will help him continue to polish his manners.
