Dutchess

Meet Dutchess! Her breed is a best guess, as she was once deeply loved by her original family. Unfortunately, housing restrictions led her to foster care, where she's now ready for her second chance at a forever home. Dutchess can be a little timid when first meeting new people and may back up and bark. However, if you approach her with a treat and get down to her level, you'll quickly discover her sweet and friendly nature, and she'll consider you her best friend! It seems she may have been primarily an indoor pet and not extensively socialized as a puppy, but she's bravely learning to embrace the world around her. She hasn't had many opportunities to meet other dogs yet.

Dutchess would likely thrive in a home where she can continue to build confidence and learn about new experiences at her own pace.

Ongoing Health

Dutchess's spay appointment is scheduled and will be completed prior to her adoption.

Training & Support

While Dutchess is learning to welcome new experiences, she is still working on her socialization skills. She has not been exposed to many new dogs and may need gentle introductions to other canine companions.
