A little about them

Liberty is a sweet, playful two-year-old Cattle Dog mix who enjoys walks, toys, zoomies, car rides, and relaxing beside her people. She has a medium energy level and is affectionate without needing constant attention. After raising her puppies in foster care, she is ready for a best friend of her own. Liberty is fostered in Houston, Texas, and is available for adoption nationwide.

Ideal Home

Liberty is dog friendly and enjoys canine companions, but she appreciates having her own space around food and special toys. She would do best in a cat-free home. Her adopter should be willing to continue helping her learn and build confidence.

Ongoing Health

Liberty is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease and is expected to be available for transport in early October.

Training & Support

Liberty is potty trained and is doing well with short kennel-training sessions. She is food motivated and is working on staying calm and focused when she sees other dogs while on leash. She handles shorter car rides well, though she can become carsick on longer trips.
