Meet Bluegrass! He's a gentle, sweet, and loving Australian Shepherd mix who is looking for a fresh chapter full of love and patience. Bluegrass and his best friend Cody are quite nervous and timid around new people and places, and they are very bonded to one another. Because of this, they will be required to go home together. They can certainly benefit from an adopter who can help them build their confidence, and introductions to new people, places, or animals should always be done slowly. They need a special home that will give them the time, love, and patience they need to grow.

Ideal Home

Bluegrass and Cody need to be adopted together. Due to their timid nature, a home with children 6+ is recommended. However, if you have younger children and experience with shy and nervous dogs, we can discuss this possibility.

No specific health conditions are mentioned for Bluegrass.

Training & Support

Since there is no prior history for Bluegrass and Cody, adopters would likely need to reintroduce potty/house training. Crate training is highly encouraged for both dogs.
