Hiya Friends! My name is October, and I'm a beautiful 1-year-old female German Shepherd looking for my forever family! I was found in a scary shelter and was starting to shut down, but thankfully, IDGSR rescued me and brought me to a wonderful foster home near Nashville, TN. I'm a young girl who's still learning, but I'm eager to please, especially with tasty treats! I dream of a home with lots of love, my own dog bed, exciting walks, and plenty of tummy rubs. I'd love to explore walking trails, play with a friendly large male dog, and snuggle on the couch. If you're looking for a beautiful, resilient, friendly, athletic, and lovely companion, I'm your girl!

Ideal Home

A loving person or family who will give me lots of attention, walks, and opportunities to play. I would do best with older children (10+) and would love to have a large male dog friend to play with. I cannot live with cats.

Ongoing Health

I am up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm testing, monthly preventatives, and I have been spayed.

Training & Support

I am still learning house and crate training, so patience will be key. I am eager to learn obedience commands, especially with positive reinforcement and treats!
