Meet Sheps Farm Border Collies. Hi, We are a small hobby farm with BOER goats, pigs, and Border Collies. This is our first AKC litter, but we have had border collies for 20+ years. I raised both the sire and dam from puppies, and they have 12 acres and plenty of animals to keep them busy. I consulted with CRL Border Collies to make sure we are offering excellent puppies and are a responsible steward for the breed ( references available). Our sire is from CRL, which is a breeder that has been operating in North Texas since 1968 ( they are awesome, check out their site). Both dogs have genetic testing (results will be uploaded), and Angel, the dam, has had complete OFA bone examinations (results will be uploaded). $300 deposit/$1200 pick up. Blue Merle - $500 deposit/$1500 pick up. The puppies will have had their 6 weeks vaccinations and you will receive a folder with a puppy starter kit as well as instructions on how to register your pup. We adore and spoil our dogs. Odin and Angel are amazing dogs and quintessential representations of the breed. We have a prior customer who recently said her border collie trainer asked asked "where did you get this dog? This is the best border collie Ive seen and a superb representation of the breed." AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. We encourage all prospective puppy owners to do their research and be prepared with questions to ask the breeder. Make sure you are not only choosing the right breed for you, but also that you’re getting it from the right individual.
