Crash: Not At shelter (Joan)

Six-month-old Crash is a true survivor! He was found lying injured and bleeding for three days, unable to move or access food and water. It's believed he was hit by a car but managed to make his way to a yard where he waited for help. Thankfully, a concerned citizen alerted animal control, and Crash was rescued.

After x-rays revealed a broken pelvis, he underwent surgery to stabilize it. The procedure was extensive, but Crash came through and is now recovering with strong medication.

Ideal Home

We do not permit cats or kittens to be declawed following adoption. We do not promote dog adoptions to homes where an invisible fence is the fencing of choice.

Ongoing Health

Crash has a surgically repaired broken pelvis.

Training & Support

Crash is a young puppy who will need continued guidance and training.

• Unaltered babies under the age of six months can be adopted only to residents of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, and counties touching Campbell County.
• Unaltered adult pets six months or older will need to be sterilized before they can be adopted outside our local area of Campbell County, the City of Lynchburg, or counties touching Campbell.

Transportation

Crash is currently at Peaksview Animal Hospital and will be at Friends of Campbell County Animal Control in Rustburg, VA.
