Mavis has a low-to-moderate energy level and a naturally calm demeanor. She enjoys daily walks and relaxing by your side afterward. Mavis loves other dogs and thrives in a social environment, getting along beautifully with dogs of all sizes. She is respectful, reads social cues well, and knows when to disengage if another dog isn't interested in playing. On leash, Mavis walks close by your side and is easily redirected. She politely avoids sewer grates and drainage holes and may startle if approached suddenly from behind, so a calm and predictable environment is best for her.
Mavis is house-trained, does well in a crate, and has great manners when left alone. She is not destructive and coexists peacefully with other dogs. She doesn't show food aggression but enjoys treats! Mavis has been wonderful with children, including an 8-year-old.
