Meet Ernie!

Ernie is a handsome 2-year-old, 50lb shepherd mix with a striking russet-red and black coat, expressive ears, and a face full of personality. He's an athletic adventure buddy and an affectionate shadow, always eager to be involved in whatever his people are doing. Friendly, curious, playful, and wonderfully smart, Ernie gets along great with dogs of all sizes and brings a fun, gentle energy wherever he goes. He's the kind of dog who can give you a mischievous look one second and melt into you for affection the next, making that "I can explain" bandana feel extremely believable. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick with brains, beauty, and a twist of comedic timing, Ernie may be your guy.

Ernie is a medium-sized, neutered male who is up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. He is healthy and ready for his forever home!

Training & Support

Ernie is a smart and eager-to-please pup. He is house-trained and generally well-behaved, but as with any dog, continued positive reinforcement and consistency will help him continue to grow and learn.

Ernie is currently in a foster home in Corpus Christi, TX. Transportation is available to approved adopters in various locations.
