Shadow

Shadow should have spent his first year learning what it's like to be a puppy, but instead, he was left to fend for himself in the dumping grounds of Cleveland, Texas. Estimated to be 11 months old, Shadow has an old soul – he's calm, gentle, and observant, a young Black Lab mix with the wisdom of many years. At only 47 lbs, he's the perfect medium-sized companion. Since arriving in rescue, Shadow has been enjoying the simple comforts he was deprived of: a warm bed, full meals, toys to call his own, and the security of knowing someone will come home for him. Now, he's looking for a family to help him continue to grow and thrive.

Like any young dog, Shadow will benefit from continued training and positive experiences. He is already kennel trained and potty trained.
