About Pongo

Meet Pongo, a brave 2-year-old pup who has overcome a lot! He was a street dog surviving in Punta de Mita before being found with facial injuries. We knew he needed extra care and brought him into our rescue. Pongo is a sweet boy who loves to play with other dogs, go for walks, and soak up the sun.

Ideal Home

Pongo would love a home where he can play with other dogs and enjoy some sunshine.

Ongoing Health

Pongo is currently completing our full medical protocol, which includes:

  • Full vaccinations
  • Deworming
  • Microchip with lifetime registration
  • Neuter surgery
  • Bloodwork (CBC, chemistry panel, 4DX test)
  • Flea/tick/heartworm prevention (NexGard Spectra)

Training & Support

Pongo is not yet house-trained and will need continued guidance in this area.
