Meet Abby! This sweet 4-year-old Staffordshire Terrier/American Bully mix, weighing around 64lbs, is ready to steal your heart with her calm, gentle soul and playful spirit. Abby is spayed, fully vaccinated, and up-to-date on her monthly preventatives, making her all set for her forever home. She loves spending time with her foster sister, happily greets new dogs with a wagging tail and a smile, and is excellent at reading other dogs' body language. While she can be a tad jealous, she's respectful and easygoing, making her a wonderful companion for either an only-dog household or one with a well-matched canine friend. She also gets the occasional case of the zoomies, showing off her fun-loving side!
Ideal Home
Abby would do well as an only dog or with a canine companion. Given we don't have history with cats or young children, a home with older, dog-savvy children (10+) would be ideal.
Ongoing Health
Abby is spayed, fully vaccinated, and current on all preventatives. She is a professional cuddle bug and firmly believes she is a lap dog despite her size. Thunderstorms can be a bit scary for her, and she will seek out a quiet, safe spot until they pass.
Training & Support
Abby is fully potty trained, crate trained, and will happily settle into her crate to sleep each night. She is also crated when left home alone and does beautifully. She hasn't shown any signs of resource guarding or food aggression. She enjoys leisurely walks and handles stairs with no problem. While she rides nicely in the car, it's not her favorite activity.

Transporation
Abby is currently in foster care. Transports run every few weeks. Once approved, she will be placed on the next available transport. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time.
