Leroy

Look at this smile!

Leroy is a 2-year-old Pyr mix with a personality as big as his grin. He came to us when his previous owner faced health challenges. Leroy is a sweet and playful companion who loves being around his people. He might greet you with an enthusiastic jump, so a home with very young children might not be the best fit. He enjoys the company of other dogs but can be a bit dominant, especially with males. He would likely do best with a calm female dog or as the only canine in the household. Leroy is curious about cats and, while eager to make friends, we believe most cats can hold their own against his friendly overtures.

Ideal Home

Leroy would thrive in a home with a large, fenced yard where he can expend his energy. He needs an active adopter who can match his playful spirit. Because he can be vocal at times, he's not suited for apartment living.

Leroy is a healthy 2-year-old boy.
