Scooby Doo

Scooby Doo came to us after being found on a rural county road, having unfortunately been hit by a car. After gaining his trust, he settled in beautifully and hasn't looked back since! Thankfully, the vet found no serious injuries from his encounter with the car, and he's been cleared for his new life.

Scooby is neutered, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on his vaccinations, including kennel cough and rabies. He's also on regular flea, tick, and heartworm preventative. He's gained some much-needed weight and is now a healthy 64 pounds, looking sleek, handsome, and ready for his forever home! He's a friendly guy who loves to play fetch, walks well on a leash, and is a fantastic passenger in the car. This dog truly has it all, except for a place to call his own.

Ideal Home

Scooby would love a home with children who enjoy playing with him, or someone looking for an active running companion. He's also great with other dogs and even cats! He needs a securely fenced yard to keep him safe, as he has a tendency to wander if not contained.

Ongoing Health

Scooby has had a previous car strike, but the vet has cleared him and found no serious issues. He is current on all his vaccinations and preventative medications.

Training & Support

Scooby is well-behaved on leash and enjoys car rides. The primary support he needs is a secure fenced yard.

Transporation

Scooby is currently located at our rescue. Transportation can be discussed once an application is approved.
