OSA

Osa is a 2-year-old, 55-pound mixed breed with a sweet, shy, and soft nature. She was surrendered to a shelter due to housing restrictions and is now ready to find her loving forever home. Osa can be a bit bouncy, so mature children 12 and up are recommended. She's generally calm in the house, enjoying playtime, pets, or lounging on her bed. Osa is making great progress with her basic training, including leash walking, being calm around other dogs, and obedience. She's also crate trained and happily retreats to her crate for meals. While initially nervous around new people and situations, she blossoms into a loyal and loving companion once comfortable.

Ideal Home

Osa would thrive in a home that continues to provide structure, training, and exercise. She has shown compatibility with a resident dog in her foster home, but could also do well as a solo dog. Due to her bouncy nature, a home without small children is preferred, as she is still learning her manners.

Ongoing Health

Osa has no reported allergies and is in good health.

Training & Support

Osa is crate trained and responding well to basic obedience, loose-leash walking, and learning to be calm around other dogs. Continuing with positive reinforcement and consistent training will help her flourish.
