Meet Knox, a distinguished 9-year-old male Presa Canario with striking brindle coloring and soulful brown eyes. Knox found himself in a tough spot when his previous owners moved to a place that wouldn't allow him and his sister, Cornelia. Thankfully, Big Dogs Huge Paws came to the rescue, pulling them to foster care where Knox is now ready to find his forever family. He arrived underweight and with several medical needs, all of which are being diligently addressed. As a senior gentleman, Knox is already a pro at house and leash training, and he's lived harmoniously with children, other dogs, and cats. He's not one for digging up your yard or chewing on your belongings, making him a truly wonderful companion. The Presa Canario breed is known for its loyalty and protective nature, historically bred for guarding. This breed typically does best with experienced owners who can provide consistent socialization and plenty of opportunities for exercise. Just like Fort Knox safely stores precious items, we at Big Dogs Huge Paws are dedicated to finding safe and loving homes for dogs like Knox. Could you be the one to offer this sweet old boy a secure and comfortable home for his golden years?
