Lil Bit

Lil Bit is a 4-year-old, approximately 30-pound dog who has recently experienced a lot of change. He was surrendered by his owner who could no longer care for him. Lil Bit is described as a dog who does what he wants when he wants to, sometimes seeking affection and sometimes needing his space. He can be a bit aloof with new people, which is said to be characteristic of his breed. Lil Bit enjoys walks and will need a fenced-in yard.

Ideal Home

Lil Bit would thrive in a home where he has the freedom to be himself. He is not a snuggly lap dog and may need space at times. A fenced-in yard is a requirement. He has never been kid-tested, but he is a chill dog and is not expected to have issues with children.

Ongoing Health

Lil Bit is neutered and has received an updated Rabies vaccine. He is currently receiving his DAPP vaccinations and is up-to-date on flea control and deworming.

Training & Support

Lil Bit is working on kennel training, which is currently hit or miss, though he does sleep through the night when settled. He has not had any accidents in the house, but he is frequently taken outside. He HATES cats and will chase them, so he should not be placed in a home with feline friends. He walks well on a leash.
