Mia (Dallas)

Meet Mia! Mia is a sweet, chocolate Chihuahua mix who is approximately 2-3 years old and weighs about 12lbs. She's a little shy and timid when you first meet her, so she'll need a patient adopter who can help her come out of her shell. Mia absolutely adores other dogs and would love to have a canine companion of a similar size in her new home. She also loves spending time outdoors and needs a secure backyard to explore – no apartments for this girl! Mia is working on her potty training and is currently pad-trained, but will need continued support to master her house-training skills.

Ideal Home

Mia would thrive in a home with another small dog for companionship. She requires a securely fenced backyard, as she loves to be outside. Due to her size and past experiences, Mia cannot be placed in a home with large breed dogs, small children, swimming pools unless completely enclosed by permanent fencing, or a doggy door.

Ongoing Health

Mia is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She recently had a dental cleaning, a fecal test, and is Heartworm negative. She is currently on heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Mia is working on her potty training and is pad-trained. She will need ongoing support and consistency to fully master her house-training.
