Hola, I'm Pepita! I'm about 5 years old, 66 pounds, and a Terrier mix with a gentle heart that's just looking for somewhere to belong.

I came in as a stray, and it's likely I was left behind. I don't really understand why... but I do know I'm ready for something better. I'm ready for a home where I don't have to wonder what comes next-where I can finally feel safe, loved, and wanted.

The shelter is a big, loud place, and while I'm doing my best, what I really need is a soft place to land. A cozy spot, a kind voice, and someone who will show me that not every goodbye is forever.

I have so much love to give. I just need someone willing to give me a chance.

I'm already spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested-so I'm ready to start my new life as soon as I find my person.
