Crystal

Crystal is a sweet, approximately 3-year-old, 17lb female Australian Shepherd mix. Her world was turned upside down when her owner was deployed, and she found herself scared and overwhelmed in the shelter. Thankfully, she was given a second chance and has been blossoming ever since. Once Crystal trusts you, she's an affectionate little lap dog who loves belly rubs, following her people around, and playing with her foster dog siblings. She's doing great with her collar, walks nicely on a leash, knows sit and paw, and is learning new things every day. She's a very smart girl who loves to learn!

Ideal Home

Crystal is looking for a patient family who will continue helping her build confidence. She does have some resource guarding tendencies.

Ongoing Health

Crystal is spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Crystal has some resource guarding tendencies, so her adopter should be committed to using positive reinforcement and continuing the training she's already started. She is house-trained and is learning new things every day, including sit and paw.
