Kiya is a 9-week-old, 10 lb female Husky with a beautiful coat and a playful spirit. She's a smarty-pants who is already doing very well with potty training, preferring to go outside but using potty pads when necessary. Kiya has learned a few tricks and is working on basic obedience. She's a very good girl when it comes to mealtime, knowing to sit and wait patiently for her food. Kiya is crate-trained and enjoys napping in her crate during the day. She's a cuddly pup who loves to snuggle up with her foster family or her doggy foster sibling. As a teething puppy, she needs plenty of toys and chew bones to keep her occupied; otherwise, she might resort to playing with her own tail! This sweet and affectionate girl dislikes the heat and would thrive in a cooler climate where she can enjoy snow or fall leaves. Kiya is looking for a loving family to continue her training and shower her with affection as she grows. She will not be spayed before transport but will require spaying once she reaches full adult size, as per her adoption contract.
Ideal Home
Kiya would love a family that can continue her training and provide her with lots of love. She needs a cooler climate, away from the Texas heat, where she can play in the snow or fall leaves.
Ongoing Health
Kiya will not be spayed prior to transport but must be spayed once she has reached her full adult size, approximately one year old, as part of her adoption contract.
