He came to us after being on the euthanasia list at animal control, and it was immediately clear he deserved a second chance at a safe and loving life. Maryland is a gentle soul who is learning to trust that kindness is real. He's a bit nervous but very hopeful, and he truly wants to connect. Even with his uncertainty, he greets people with happy tail wags and sweet nose boops, quietly asking for reassurance. These small gestures show the loving heart that's just waiting to emerge.
