Freckles

Freckles is a 12-week-old, 13-pound Basset Hound/Lab mix with a heart as big as his adorable floppy ears! He was found abandoned and alone in a wooded area until a kind person rescued him and brought him to safety. Freckles is a sweet boy who loves exploring the great outdoors and is always ready for a new adventure. Whether it's a walk down a nature trail, a game of tug-of-war, or chasing his favorite squeaky toys, this happy pup is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. He adores being with his people and has a true "Velcro puppy" personality – if you're moving, Freckles wants to be right there beside you!

Ideal Home

Freckles would thrive in a home that enjoys adventures and wants a constant companion. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would fit beautifully into almost any family.

Ongoing Health

Most puppies travel with two rounds of vaccines, and sometimes three. Puppies under 6 months of age are not spayed or neutered. Spaying or neutering is a required condition of adoption and must be completed by the puppy's first birthday or by your veterinarian's recommendation, at the adopter's expense. Out-of-state surgery costs are not included in the adoption fee.

Training & Support

Freckles is already incredibly well-mannered for his age. He is potty trained, leash trained, and sleeps peacefully on his own bed all night long.

Transportation

All of our dogs are fostered in Texas. Our next transport is June 26/27th. Transport is included in our adoption fees, which are paid at pickup. The total adoption fee is $250.

Pickup Locations:

• Missouri: Herculaneum (south of St. Louis) - Friday evening
• Illinois: Collinsville (north of St. Louis) - Friday evening; Springfield - Friday evening; Bloomington/Normal - Friday evening; Oglesby - Saturday morning; Roscoe - Saturday morning; Plainfield - Saturday afternoon
• Wisconsin: Sun Prairie - Saturday late morning; Fond du Lac - Saturday early afternoon; Menominee Falls - Saturday afternoon

Additional Notes: Green Bay area adopters meet in Fond du Lac. Davenport area adopters meet in Oglesby or Roscoe.
