Betty

Betty is a curious and playful border collie mix who's estimated to be around 8 years old. She's a wonderfully well-behaved girl who was rescued from SFACC. Betty loves to go for walks and hikes and is very adept at navigating various trail terrains. She's also very food motivated, which makes training a breeze! Betty is crate-trained and house-trained, though senior pups can sometimes have accidents, so keeping her on a schedule will help prevent those. She's curious about all new things and rides very well in the car. Betty adores neck, chin, and ear rubs and currently co-exists well with four dogs in her foster home. She learned her household routines and layout very quickly and would enjoy a home with a backyard where she can roam during the day.

Due to her mature age, Betty's sight and hearing are not what they used to be.

Training & Support

Betty is crate trained and house-trained when kept on a schedule. Senior accidents can happen, so consistency is key. She is very food motivated, which is a great asset for any continued training.

Transportation

Betty is currently fostered in Sunnyvale, CA. We hold adoption events from San Francisco to the South Bay, and most dogs are ready to go home the day of the event. You can also meet dogs at their foster home.
