Aspen is a sweet, cuddly, energetic Pit Bull Terrier with a big personality in a medium-sized body. This happy, playful boy loves people, full-body wiggles, adorable awoos, and curling up beside you. He is spayed/neutered and currently in a foster home in Tucson, Arizona.

Ideal Home

Aspen would thrive with a person or family ready to make him a big part of their lives. He would do best with at least one confident dog to help him adjust and show him the ropes. Since he came from a rural hoarding case and many experiences are new to him, his family should be patient as he settles in.

Aspen lives successfully with three larger dogs and previously lived with three smaller dogs. He has also lived with cats and was curious but respectful. His experience with children is unknown.

Ongoing Health

Aspen was exposed to distemper during a hoarding case but has shown no signs of illness. He is healthy, no longer infectious, and ready for his forever home.

Training & Support

Aspen is housetrained with a dog door and crate trained, especially when a treat is involved. His foster family is continuing to work on manners and leash training. He is bright, eager to please, and energetic, but settles after exercise.

He loves to play, chase toys, bow to invite other dogs to play, and follow his foster dog around the yard. He is still learning to bring toys back.
