Max aka Ava

Meet Max! Max is a 5.5-year-old, 47.9lb, female Irish Setter. Max, named after the character from Stranger Things, was previously known as Ava and was recently adopted from us but had to be returned through no fault of her own. Sadly, her tiny human friend was developing allergy and asthma issues as a result of having a canine pal in the home. Max is an amazing lady who loves her humans with her entire heart! She loves her people and things so much that she can't imagine having to share them.

Ideal Home

Max would do best as the only pup in the home. She hasn't been aggressive, but can be a bit grumbly when other animals want her humans' attention. Max does great with kids and wants to be close to her humans as much as possible.

Ongoing Health

Max is currently taking a glucosamine and chondroitin supplement to keep her joints and hips happy and healthy!

Training & Support

Max tolerates being crated but doesn't love it. She does very well when left out of her crate in the home. She is a great leash walker and has been going for a 1-mile walk every morning and afternoon.
