Meet Mia, a brave and beautiful mamma! Mia's story is one of heartbreak turned into hope. She was found tied up outside, frantic and terrified, while her puppies were rescued from the trash. Though she was malnourished and covered in ticks, Mia and her babies were safely rescued and recovered. Now, this incredible mama has had the chance to rest, heal, and just be a dog again.

Mia today is sweet, playful, and great with other dogs. She's loving and gentle now that she knows she is safe. She's likely a cattle dog/heeler mix, healthy, happy, and ready for her forever home. Mia gave everything she had to protect her pups, even when the world wasn't kind to her. Now it's her turn to be cherished. Transportation

Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico. We facilitate adoptions to the US and Canada by matching approved adopters with flight companions traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You will meet your new pup at the airport. During summer months, if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable, dogs may fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border.
