If you're looking for a dog that's as smart as she is spirited, this little cattle dog is ready to find her perfect match. Roo is estimated to be 4 months old and weighs 19lbs. She has all the traits that make heelers so incredible—loyal, eager to be involved in everything you do, and always ready for the next adventure. She is mostly house-trained and fully crate-trained. While she isn't a fan of going into her crate, she settles down quickly and does well once she's inside. She's also not destructive, especially when her mind and body are kept busy.
Ideal Home
Roo needs an active home that understands the physical and mental exercise this breed requires. She would absolutely thrive in a home with another playful dog who can match her energy, as having a canine companion helps keep her engaged, gives her an outlet for play, and allows her to be the happy, confident dog she's meant to be. She is not a good fit for first-time dog owners and will not do well in an apartment; an experienced cattle dog owner with a fenced yard is required.
