Barney Delight The Certified Mood Booster

Barney Delight is a charming 2-year-old German Shepherd/Lab mix, weighing around 45 lbs, who's on a mission to be your ultimate mood booster! He's a rescue, so while we believe this is his approximate age and breed mix, we can't guarantee it. Barney's a true companion, happiest when he's by your side, following you from room to room, or snuggled up for some quality couch time. He's affectionate, mellow without being boring, and has a special talent for making everyday life feel a little warmer. His signature wiggle butt and all-around good-boy personality make him an instant favorite. Barney is a smart cookie, already knowing commands like "sit" and "shake," and he's happily crate and potty trained, even knowing how to use a doggy door! He's the perfect blend of adventure buddy and snuggle pal, and he absolutely adores being outdoors. A nice big backyard would be his dream come true!

Ideal Home

Barney would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard where he can roam and relax in the sun. He is happy to be your one and only, or to have a canine companion who enjoys playing and also appreciates downtime.

Ongoing Health

Barney is a rescue and has received all necessary vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip.

Training & Support

Barney is crate and potty trained and knows how to use a doggy door. He has also been assessed by trainers and his behavior has been modified as needed.

Transporation

Barney is located in Texas. Transportation is available nationwide via our rescue-run USDA certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A surcharge of $87 applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
