Ophelia is a sweet, gentle soul who has already proven her incredible devotion as a mother. She was rescued from a high-kill shelter in Texas while heavily pregnant and, just days later, gave birth to a beautiful litter of puppies. Ophelia was an amazing mom, nurturing her babies until they were all ready to find their own forever homes. Now, this gorgeous girl, weighing 72lbs, is ready to be cherished as a beloved family member. Her body is still recovering from her motherhood journey, but she's doing wonderfully and is as stunning as ever. She has a wonderfully calm and easygoing personality. Ophelia gets along well with other dogs and is respectful of livestock. While she hasn't been formally tested with cats yet, her gentle nature suggests she'll adapt well, and we're happy to do a cat test for serious adopters. She's a smart girl and is already using a dog door, so she should pick up a new routine quickly.

• Fond du Lac - Saturday early afternoon
