Gina

Gina is a sweet and playful 8-month-old Belgian Malinois mix, weighing 56lbs. She was found abandoned as a tiny puppy in a cardboard box near a busy road and is now in a foster home, ready for a loving family of her own. Gina has a big personality and enjoys her toys, collecting them in her bed and playing fetch. She can be a little shy around new, larger dogs due to a past negative experience, but she thrives with proper introductions and enjoys playing with her current small and large foster siblings.

Ideal Home

Gina would do best in an active home with someone who can provide daily play and exercise. She would love to have another dog companion to keep her company and help her burn off energy. Due to her size and tendency to get excited, a home with older, dog-savvy children (10+) is recommended. She is not a good fit for a home with cats, as she gets too enthusiastic around them.

Training & Support

Gina is crate trained and can hold it for up to 8 hours. She is working on her house training. She walks well on a leash and does not show signs of separation anxiety. She is in the "puppy velociraptor stage" and needs guidance on appropriate chew toys.

Transportation
