Donna (aka Madonna)

Madonna, affectionately known as Donna, is a stunning brindle German Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a brain full of smarts! She was rescued from a shelter's euthanasia list and has blossomed into an intelligent, loyal, and affectionate companion. Donna is eager to please, house-trained, crate-trained, and highly food-motivated, making her a joy to train and engage with. When she's not learning new tricks, she loves to snuggle, resting her head in your lap for comfort and affection. Her playful spirit shines through on runs, hikes, and car rides, promising endless smiles.

Ideal Home

Donna is a high-energy girl who needs an active person or family that understands the needs of the German Shepherd breed. She'll do best with an owner who can provide plenty of exercise and enrichment. While she has shown progress walking calmly alongside another dog, she may prefer to be the only pet in her home. She has done beautifully with children aged 7-12 and loves being part of family life. Donna can be a little nervous with loud noises or unfamiliar sights but warms up quickly with reassurance.
