Morty Mello is a big-hearted, marshmallow-sweet guy who is all about comfort and relaxation. He's got the face of a teddy bear and the soul of a cozy throw pillow, making him the perfect companion for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy life's simple pleasures. Morty is estimated to be around 6 years old and weighs 75 lbs. He's a gentle giant who enjoys lounging in the sunshine and is completely unbothered by other dogs' antics. He's happy to observe from a distance, making him a low-stress addition to any household.

Ideal Home

Morty would do best in a home with another dog of similar size and temperament, one who also enjoys a calm lifestyle and isn't looking for a high-energy playmate. If you don't have another dog, that's perfectly fine too, as Morty is content with human companionship. He would also prefer a home without cats. A backyard for sunbathing and exploring would be wonderful, but he'd also adapt well to apartment living due to his quiet nature and good leash manners.

Ongoing Health

Morty Mello is a rescue dog, and as such, his exact breed and age are a mystery. He is up-to-date on all vetting and comes with a health certificate deeming him healthy for travel.

Training & Support

Morty has wonderful house manners and is fully potty trained. He walks beautifully on a leash and is quiet in his crate. He's an excellent candidate for a work-from-home companion, a movie marathon buddy, or a relaxed companion for neighborhood strolls.

Transporation

Morty is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue run USDA certified transport system. We offer drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. Transport includes real-time tracking, photo updates, and a private Facebook event page for adopters. A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
