Meet Catherine Ibold. Catherine Ibold is from Florida and breeds Samoyeds. EL-AL Samoyeds, An AKC Breeder of Merit, was named after my parents Elsie and Albert Buhaly. We have owned, shown and bred Samoyeds for over 50 years. My mother Elsie, was top breeder for a number of years with the Samoyed Club of America. We have bred numerous Best In Show, Best In Specialty Show, Owner Handled Best In Show, Working Group winners, and top 20 winners for numerous years and top performance dogs as well as many well loved companions that are perfect family members. We have bred over 200 champions, Gold, Silver, Bronze Grand champions, Award of Merit and Award of Excellence winners. Raikou (BISS OH BIS Gold Grand Ch. EL-AL's Lord of Thunder, CGC, CAT, TKI) is the number one Owner Handled Samoyed for the Lifetime of the Owner Handled Series. Showing these beautiful dogs is our hobby, preserving this ancient breed is our passion. We breed for conformation to the Samoyed Club of America standard, and while beautiful, these are after all a true all around working dog and companion. We health test our dogs prior to breeding, and are keenly aware of the lovely temperament these dogs should have. Catherine is an AKC judge for Samoyeds and Breeder of Merit with the AKC.
