He’s a smart boy who is completely trustworthy and content to simply relax by your side. He even gets along famously with the resident cats, and he's a pro at his crate and daily walks. Joey thrives on a predictable routine and has excellent recall.

Ideal Home

Joey is a sensitive soul who is most comfortable and relaxed with his foster mom. He can be a bit guarded and nervous around men and fast movements. Because of this, Joey would do best in a quiet, calm, and predictable home environment. He's looking for a patient adopter, ideally female or someone prepared to let him bond at his own pace, who understands that building trust takes time. A home without young children is essential. Once Joey feels safe and secure, his happy-go-lucky, sweet personality truly shines, revealing a loyal companion eager to explore the world with you.

Training & Support

Joey is house-trained and has excellent manners. He is fully crate-trained and great on walks. He has excellent recall. His adopter will need to be patient and understanding as he builds trust.
