This sweet 32lb Lab retriever mix, with an estimated birthday of March 26, 2022, came to us from a difficult hoarding situation where she sadly lacked the care and attention she deserved. She arrived quite underweight, but with good food, patience, and kindness, she's gaining strength and confidence every single day.

Cotton can be a bit shy when you first meet her, and that's completely understandable as the world is still a big, new place for her. She's looking for a person who understands that building trust takes time. But when she starts to feel safe, you'll notice her soft eyes, her quiet tail wags, and her gentle presence as she simply wants to be near you.

Transportation

Cotton Ball is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may vary in pickup locations, including nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles that are converted for dog transport. Adopters can track their dog's journey using the Life360 app and will receive updates from transport. Facebook chats are also available for tracking updates. Please be prepared to use one of these services to follow your adopted dog during transport.
